I am having my first incubator hatch today. The babies aren't due until tomorrow but two have already hatched today, and two others are pipped. The two that I have hatched are making all sorts of racket and standing, climbing, and rolling over all of the eggs. I know that people say you dont want to disturb the chicks that haven't hatched yet, but these chicks are being real nuisances and I am very worried that they are going to hurt the other eggs. I have a brinsea mini advanced so the space is very, VERY limited, so its really not their fault, but all the same, I just want to have the best chance possible. I have seen movement in three of the five eggs left so far and I don't want them to be disturbed (although its kind of late for that), since the chicks have really been standing and shaking and rolling over the eggs nonstop... Can I remove them?? Or is it too dangerous??? Help Please!! (soon?)

well till 24 hour they dont need food so it not a must to take them out if they havent fluffed up leave them inside if they are fluffed up and ready id say just flash and take them out gentely but DO IT AT UR OWN RISK as if u open maybe the humidty might drop and they might be shrink wrapped :(

Do you think leaving the chicks in there is harming the eggs? Because they are really shaking them around!

i had 8 eggs hatch over 4 days. i took them out after 24 hours .they all were fine. just work fast as i did.they are easy to catch. yea they trample the other eggs but it dont seem to matter.i know the feeling these were all over the place chirping. when i got them to the brooder they slept the first 2 days alot. weird they never seemed to sleep in the incubator?have fun i did.and i will say this they are now only 4-7 days old and grow so fast

Okay so you don't think they will get shrinkwrapped if I do it fast?

depends on ur weather .... google the humidity of the loaction u live in if the humidty is blow 65 there is a chance becuz at this stage humidty plays itz main role

and if u have an AC DONT I SAY DONT OPEN THE BATOR CUZ AC FINISHES HUMIDTY AND THERES A FAKR GOOD CHANCE UR HUMIDTY WONT BE ORE THEN 15-30 THT IS VERY BAD

it says that is 62% but that is outside and my incubator is inside of my house.... I would assume the humidity is lower inside....
