Remove chicks?

ac is bad now what u could do is quickly race out side and quickly get ur chicks come back and plug the incubator on becuse with an AC theres no way u could open the bator but thinking u have 8 eggs I think u have a big Incubator that u cant move quickly :(

my incubator is very small and has seven eggs; five now that two have hatched and I am not going to unplug the incubator

is it safe or not??
It is always best to Not OPEN THE INCUBATOR.
I will suggest that if you do..........................run the shower in your bathroom until it is steamy in the room.
Take the incubator in the steamy room and very quickly remove the chicks . I have done this in the past..............be prepared that they may
jump and land on the floor............ Had that happen ..............
Generally the chicks will not hurt the eggs. they actually encourage the chicks to hatch by talking to them.
I understand that room is one issue.............oh, and they are good in the incubator after hatch for two or three days.
They live off their egg sack.........In the chicken world, this gives the hen time to hatch all her eggs before she has to teach them to eat and drink.
Good Luck...you are doing fine...............

the shower idea is awesome.i will say this i have a bird cage with 3 finches 2 feet from the incubator and i sear they talked to each other.
i have an incubator that holds 36 eggs i had only 10 eggs and alot of toweld soak . so i think i had more margin for error on humidity. i would do the shower thing and put the incubator in the steam and take them out. but up to you. good luck some pics later would be awesome
