Hi everyone, our first chicks have hatched, 2 of them. We still have 2 in the incubator, one has pipped. How long do the chicks need to be in there? Can I take them out and put them in the brooder while the eggs that haven't hatched are still in the incubator?

You can as long as the ones that hatched are dry
on the other side the rule says do not open the incubator because you loose humidity i do it with no problems

The chicks can stay in the incubator for up to 3 days after they hatch. There is no need to remove them from the incubator. You may not mess up the other unhatched eggs, but why risk it? And, the already hatched chicks will encourage the others to get to work.
Good luck
