removing feed every evening.

We put our 9 broilers out in the coop over the weekend with our pair of jungle chickens. I was restricting food while they were in there own little box with the light on at all times. I would take it away at 8pm and return it at 6am so there bones and legs would stay strong. Now that they are all in the coop I have been keeping the food in the coop and turning the light out at 8pm. Will this do the same thing or should I still be removing the feed?

Chickens don't move around in the dark because they can't see. You should be fine.

yeah that was pretty much my way of restriciting feed too, no light at night! worked great
