removing some chicks from under hen

My broody's are buff orpington/white leghorn crosses.

well, the deed has been done !! The girl showed up an hour early, so i wasn't prepared, I wanted to have a little bit of cuddle time with them before they left. awe. it was hard letting them go.

mama hen, well, she's madder then mad. GOod thing I had a glove on !! she threw herself at the fencing to get at me, she was mad. but, as I was taking the two out of the coop she was covering up the other ones, just in case I changed my mind to take them all. I wanted to make a fast exit, so that I could shut the door and get her back in the dark and calmed down. Hopefully she forgives me , and gets over it and cares for the ones she has, I will check on her in a bit and make sure she is still loving the other ones, she may never let me open the brooder pen door again though, ugh. poor girl, she is over the top protective. she definitely is a jekkyl and hyde chicken.
