Rent a coop horizontals -remove cups?

Ok so I reordered horozontals from Amazon and they came with cups attached. Not what I ordered.

So I placed another order different quantity with intent to return first order. Repeat. Same deal happened the listing online doesn't show the cups foe either quantity. Ugh.

Will these snap off without damage?

I don't want the cups they get way too dirty . . .

These appear to be a NEW DESIGN , of the horizontal nipples. They are not the cup style nipples I know. Those fill when cup is depressed.
You can order from a different supplier, and see if those are what you want.
I looked on Amazon site, and sure enough, the pictures are of the old style.
You have 2 simple options if you don't like the cups getting dirty. Mount the nipples so cup rim is in vertical position, thus not gathering water, and dirt. Second option, is to saw off the cup. If they are snapped on,, then just remove and discard. The waterer should work just fine ether way.

Ok I opened pack to see what I could do. Weird these cups are so small.

I used a pliers and easily snapped off the cups. They do pop right off!

Thank goodness. . .
