Hi all. I’m reposting as I only got one response and it wasn’t super helpful unfortunately.
Hi all! I wanted to ask if what I hear are sneezes or just a puff of air to clear nose. I notice after my 6 week olds eat, drink, or scratch in the pine shavings- they do this thing that sounds like a puff of air. There is no drainage in the nostrils. They are all eating and drinking and acting normal. No head shaking. I know they dunk their beaks pretty far into the water and the room we have them in gets dusty from their mess. I just want to make sure this is normal. I googled chicken sneezes and get all kinds of answers from normal to the chicks are sick. They don’t seem sick. There are also no noises with these “sneezes” other than the air I hear coming from them. Any advice please.
Edit- I want to add this has been a thing they’ve done pretty much from the beginning of me having them which is almost 5 weeks. Happy as chicks in a henhouse otherwise!!!
