The great thing about reptiles is that they don't want anything, so get them things YOU want like new hides, live plants or maybe setting up a bioactive habitat. The reptile will benefit for sure but the real winner is you as you get something cool to play with and nice to look at

I usually get some special bugs (wax worms or horn worms) or something new for their viv, like a new plant, hammock, climbing wall, ledge, etc.

I also have Christmas decorations for their tanks, tiny Christmas stockings with their names on them, and reptile ornaments on my tree, but those are all 100% for me lol

I have told them and they don't seem too freaked out. I think they know me by now!
