Right. It's kinda like why our appendix is on our right side. Just is. You might get one or two birds in a lifetime that have their crop on the left but they would likely have other anomalies.

Now I will admit my last post may have been a little hurtful, so I will make up for it by telling the story of the little boy who went to school one morning and told his class that his dog had puppies. He was so excited and he told his whole class that they were DEMOCRATS, the teacher just thought he was somehow mistaken. Then about a week later the teacher decided to play along and said Billy, how are those little DEMOCRATS doing? Billy stood up with a great big smile and said "they aint democrats no more, they finally opened their eyes. Now they are Republicans".
