Leghorns fly when others will run when startled.This has earned them the reputation of being flighty

True, they're def built for flight more so than a lot of other breeds.

My White Leghorn pullets and hens (I've had five) have tended to be pretty loud, and they definitely fly! Though I've heard that that can be mitigated by clipping their wings (which I haven't tried). They aren't the friendliest of my birds, but the current two were raised by a hen rather than being brooder babies, so that definitely could have affected their friendliness. My WL roosters haven't been aggressive with me, but they're still under a year old, so we'll see. My current one is pretty skittish but likes being petted if I manage to catch him. Same with the pullets.

I always have 2 or 3 waiting for me at the door now that they're older( I have 9 of them) They scatter and take flight when they're out of their comfort zone and easy to trigger but soon as they put soon distance between you and them they're fine
