Info Needed~

I am starting another peafowl "lesson" about anatomy, movement, and behavior. If anyone has any clear pictures (that they don't mind me re-posting in the thread for BYC) of the following for india blue or java green peafowl, could you either post them here or email them to me at ItamashiiSparkle at gmail dot com? I will of course assign credit to you in the post, and I'll be using my own photos and videos I can find posted publicly, I just don't have enough photos on my own.

Anatomy:
Crest (individual feathers or full crown)
Head
Beak
Tongue/throat
Eyes
Feet
Legs
Spurs
Wing- extended and folded, blackshoulder and barred wing, and underside. Also a close up of a wing band in place would be nice.
Train- fanned, preening, and put down, individual feathers at the eye, trunk, and base close up; The beginning of the train on the area of the back
Scale feathers
Tail- from behind the bird or from just after a train molt to view just the tail feathers

If anyone has bone structure diagrams (or knows where I can find them) or musculature diagrams that would be fantastic.

For their movement and behavior I would like to be able to either post or link to videos of peafowl performing all manner of movement, including:
Taking off
Flying
Landing (on the ground, and on a perch)
Jumping
The act of laying down (not just laying there, but actually the process of)
Sunbathing
Eating/Drinking
Walking
Standing
Turning (tight turn where they have to move their train and plain turn where they are just changing direction)
Preening
Calling/Honking (any video you have or have found of them making peculiar noises would be heartily welcome)
Distress noises- the 'popping' noise they make when they don't like something, and the alarm call if you have it
Baby noises
Interacting with young, interacting with other species
Fighting (I don't really want to see this, but I'd like to be able to show what it looks like)
Mating
On a nest

Pictures of these things are also needed. If there's anything I have forgotten that you happen to have on hand, I'm sure I can find a place for it in the thread.

I'm also still looking for photos/videos of illnesses and injuries for the 103 thread on the same. We all hate to see our birds sick and the only thing worse than knowing they are sick or hurt is not knowing with what, why or what to do about it. Hoping visual references will help.

And as a last note- if any of you have vets that will see peafowl, could I get their contact information? Adding a list to the 103 post.

This peacock was2 years old, he was growing a new train in this photo, notice the back feathers that are not yet green, seems he is behind on their development, yet he is early for his tail development
He was a dark pied

Oh, oh !
I have a few things I could post to contribute, but I need to find them all, heh.

But I have this picture of two peahens fanning their tails :

Peacocks preening their train feathers :

A video of a cute sound I love to hear them make :

- Link for video above

And one of a peahen and her peachicks preening her face :

- Ditto

Peacock asking for preening to a peachick

More "Peacock asking for preening" but to a Peahen this time

For interactions with other species - Peacock and Muscovy duck :

Aftermath of a "battle-through-fence", the Peacock crows after Muscovy Duck leaves.

Muscovy wants revenge, but the peacock thinks otherwise

I need to look more in my folders, I'm just a paparazzi so I have a lot to check. But I hope I can provide more soon !
