My chickens are spoiled rotten and only eat damp feed. As Kelsie says, chickens LOVE wet feed! Just dampen it a bit. Not sloppy or anything. Use a tub to mix and keep it out for the birds. Dampening feed is great for sick birds that have no appetite too. For some reason, they will eat damp feed no matter what. Only put out what they will eat in one day as you can't save it over till tomorrow being wet.

If you are very concerned about her being cold - you may want to get her a chicken saddle (or apron). They are generally used to protect hens from rooster damage but, also can cover wounds to prevent pecking from others and even to keep them a bit warmer while having a hard molt. Whew that was some mega sentence. A couple people have ads for chicken saddles in the "everything else for sale," section of the BYC buy,sell,trade forum. You do need 20 posts however to participate.
