They are both Black Sex Links. Black Sex Links are commonly used for producing brown eggs by laying houses as they are egg laying machines. These two have likely been discarded because they are past their peak laying rate, but with good care you can probably get another year or so of good laying out of them. Good luck.

I agree with the others, you have Black Sex-Links. You should get lots of eggs from them!
