Also, I'm in England (just followed the link and saw its American) happy to buy it from there but it will take some time to arrive so will that be a problem with giving it her, as in does it have to administered quickly?

What about Amazon? I know they carry it can you order from them, but seems a good pharmacy would carry it too. B complex might be easier to find, but I'm thinking this duckling may just have a birth defect. Could you not keep it yourself? I have B-100 complex that will have 100mgs of niacin in it.Also, I'm in England (just followed the link and saw its American) happy to buy it from there but it will take some time to arrive so will that be a problem with giving it her, as in does it have to administered quickly?
More than likely they will put her down if they take her back. Post on the BYCrehoming thread there are members who take in physically challenged ducklings/ducks.I would absolutely love to, she's so beautiful, but it's a hatch we've done at school and the eggs are on loan from a farm so don't belong to me. Saying that the lady will unlikely take a deformed duck as it's a working farm and I have no means of keeping her, not run or anything plus a mother who is terrified of birds and three cats![]()
Most likely an incubation problem, either the bator is too high temps or too low or humidity is off one way or the other. I don't hatch in bators so I am not real knowledgeable about this part of hatching. I let my ducks do the work. But I doubt unless an experienced vet could do something it will be able to walk. But for someone who wanted a house duck that scooted around on soft surfaces it can be done. How is she other wise?
What sweet pics, and so glad you found a place to take her and no kill too. she is a doll. Even with 200 kids that duckling will be lonely without another duckling, no chance of finding it a friend somewhere? thanks so much for going the extra mile for the lil one.
