Rescue duck. Please help

I know it might be hard to see but can anyone tell if his wing will grow back like the other side? I was talking to my bf and we were thinking if his wing heals and once he's bigger, maybe we can find a duck pond to release him

You really need to surrender him to a wildlife rehabber. They will treat his wing and teach him how to be a wild duck. I know you're just trying to help, but if you do what you are saying there is a good chance he will die when you release him. Please surrender him now.

I have already emailed one and called another. No response yet. I will try again on Monday as I'll be busy with family tomorrow. I do want to surrender him. The nearest rescue is more then an hour from me but I'll drive down after Sunday if one of those places take him.

This little fighter deserve a second chance at life. He's so sweet and affectionate. I've been checking obsessively waiting for an email or call back but nothing so far. Perhaps it's the holidays or weekend but I'm hopeful they will be willing to take him in. As cute as he is, it's a lot of work to care for him! I don't know how everyone here does it. I have to hand it to you guys for your dedication. I am all too willing to leave this to the expert. Will take lots of pictures for memories of this sweet boy/girl
