Rescue duckling

We've rescued a duckling from drowning and the little thing is doing fine. My question is can I put it back with the momma duck (it's been about 18 hours)?

Is it one of yours? she may take it back just watch in case she doesn't. I had to rescue one of my Muscovy ducks duckling when a snake got hold of him I had to bring him in over night took him back out to mama next day and she took him right back.
