I run a small rescue for ducks and all the ones u have Gotten have all been pet ducks (khakis swedish ect.) So this lady texted me and asks i rescued a duck from a pond can you take it so i asked some questions about the duck. Apparently it's an egg that should be hatching very soon I am a bit worries it will make my other ducks sick is it safe to eat the eggs and introduce it to my hed?sjed some questions

Sorry I meant herd and the rest is nothing.
 
This is an egg that the lady took from the pond [water]. a new duckling cannot be around older ducklings or adults anyway for at least 2-3weeks and then only with supervision so it would be similar to quarantine.
