Not a quail. Some type of pheasant chick? It does not look healthy. Is it eating and drinking?

Yeah, he’s eating and drinking okay.

That's a chicken. It looks sick or hurt, something is up with his eye. It looks almost MG-ish to me.

No comb of any kind-not a chicken. Quail-can you post a side shot showing all the bird's body.

I don't see a comb either but there's nothing else that looks that way it could be.
Def not a quail.

Poor baby. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him a safe, warm space. I hope he heals up. I feel so bad for the little...thing!
