Hi there. 6 weeks ago a friend rang me to say they had found a tiny chick in the middle of a big field all alone. They brought it to me as I keep chickens, it was obviously just hatched and very weak but I put it under a light and purchased a pekin friend of the same age. It had a small wound on its chest that looked like a claw mark so we wondered if it had been dropped by a bird of prey. It thrived and has turned white. It is now 6 weeks and 2 days since it was found.
My question is what breed can it be? It has no comb whatsoever whilst its' pekin friend has a very well developed red one. It is quite big and incredibly flighty. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance for your help.

Looks like an albino turkey to me. One way to tell if it's a wild one is to look at the length of its legs. If they are awkwardly long, it's probably a wild turkey.
Of course, it could be a chicken. But I just have one photo. Does it have a little knob on top of its beak?

It's hard to tell the actual size from that photo but all I could think was that it looks just like my A&M quail :plbb

Thanks everyone. It has not made any sound yet and it did have unusully long legs as a hatchling and now. Someone suggested it might be a Modern Game chicken but they have a very upright stance and it does not have that. Plus any chicken would be getting a comb by now surely? I will add some more pics below. Bear in mind I live in the UK. I don't even know if we have wild turkeys. I am worried to let it out with the other chooks though. Will they accept him or her?
