This guy (assuming a rooster) was wondering around a bilo parking lot. We caught him and brought him home. Any help with breed and age would be appreciated.

I agree with black breasted red for coloring, although I don't think it's oeg. Lacks the white earlobes which are still pretty present in mixes. The tail is different too. He does look younger. Maybe a copper maran, welsummer, some other black breasted red, copper, or wheaten straight-comb breed. (or a mix of) What size dog kennel is he in? just to estimate his height.

He is in a large kennel. He is not a bantam-well I don't think so- I thought bantams were small chickens. I have a 6 month old standard hens(barred rock, turkens, jersey gaint) and he is not quite as filled out but almost as tall as them. I also have a 6 month old bantam hen and she is way smaller then him.

I don't believe he has bantam in him, or at least he has very little or was breed with something huge. Most likely he is standard sized.

Looks like a large fowl Black Breasted Red Old English Game or a mix of that breed/variety. Old English Game are relatively small birds, even in their large fowl form.

It is more common for people to own bantam sized Black Brested Red Old English Games that standard sized which is why I guessed bantam (I didn't really have anything in the pic to relate his size to), but BBROEG do come in both sizes, so based on your comments, I think he is likely a standard sized BBROEG.
