A business posted about a chicken they found. The owner's husband said it was on the area at least a week. I swung by to see if i could fine her and after 5 rounds, we did and she gave us a run for our money. Finally got her and got her fed and watered because its 90+ here right now. What breed would you say she is and any guess on age? First Pic is from the business, second is after I got her.

I personally don’t think she is a white rock just due to how small the comb is. But how much does she weigh? That could help to narrow down the possible breeds.

I'll have to try to find a scale to weigh her. My other chicks are 11-14 weeks and she's much fuller and larger

good morning, we get several of those sometimes, mostly the ones we get are businesses where a hen may have been killed by a cat, dog or predator often-times we are able to save the chicks still in the nest last rescue like that was about a week ago from a Wendys that i frequent near my job...Good luck with those rescues, I found that it s very important to have a quarantine area and not add them to your existing flock straight away, observe them. that would be my unsolicited suggestion. Thank you. It was a salon in a very small parking area, but cross street has heavy traffic. She is currently around the coop/run so they can see her, but not in with them. I just hope they get along in the end.

Yeah, she is definitely full grown and should be laying for you once the stress subsides and she gets settled in.

It doesn’t have to be super accurate. If you have a scale for yourself in your house you can weigh yourself holding her and weigh yourself not holding her then just subtract the difference.

I see, well if you decide to keep her you know there is a pecking order, she'll find her place in the flock, he was a rescue my son picked up 5 chicks 2 of them roos, 1 grew up to have colors like a golden pheseant... the brother has dark coloring like the old English game birds, beautiful, will send you a picture soon,

By quarantine, you must keep her complete seperate for at least a month. No see, no touch, no cross contamination.
