Hello all,
I have 2 Pekin bantam roos and have recently resuces a pekin hen. Her feet were in a right state when I got her, so I bathed them, removed all the poo and dirt that had clumped around all her toes, clipped her nails on her 3 remaining toes as they were over 2 inch long and picked away all loose dead skin.
I am new to chicken keeping and although I have looked on Google, I cant figure out what is wrong with her feet, and there dont know how to look after it properly. I have so far used antiseptic cream on the open wounds and some de powder to keep them clean and dry but not sure what to do next.. Can anyone help??
