Rescued chickens- what breed are these?

Hey everyone,

We rescued these chickens last night that had flown into my daughter's neighbors patio. They were there for a few days but no one claimed them. We are no idea what type of breed they are. Any thoughts?

They look like American gamefowl to me. Both females.

Hmm, just looked up this breed. It's used as a fighting bird.

I'd say under a year, but over 6 months. They are in good shape.

American gamefowl females are usually mellow compared to the males. They get along with people just fine although they are skittish.
