Hahaha, I love it....Daffy the duck, is loving his new home, what a resiliant little guy, he is soo happy, swimming about and wagging his tail everywhere....he is soo much fun. My dh is totally in love with him, big Ol' softy he is.
the little roo and the little hen have made themselves quite at home, but holy moly they are so small they squeeze through just about everything,
we had a huge dumping of snow today, out of the blue, they were calling for a bit of snow flurries but we got like 20cm in a matter of hours so everyone is hanging out in the barn. My boss gave me a huge box with 5 bags of lettuce in it for my animals, nothing wrong with it just wasn't green enough to put out for customers all my animals are super happy munching away, and the duck keeps bring the lettuce into his pool to eat it, LOL.
I think I am the lucky one, cause I am truly enjoying them, I know though I will have to provide heating for the little chickens, they are about half the size of my RIR's if not smaller and our winters get super cold.
I just got off work, took me an hour to dig myself out of the parking lot, and drive home, and I ran to the barn to see them, Happy as all can be. This was surely meant to be!!
