Rescued Horses

Dasia when we got her 3 years ago. She was a pity buy at auction for $60 because nobody wanted her. She was a horribly malnourished yearling, full of worms and you couldn't even touch her.

Next to our mare.

Last summer, starting to break her to saddle. This was my great niece's first horse ride

This summer, 4 years old. She hit a major growth spurt.

My mom's 10 year old mare is first, my 17 year old gelding is in the middle, and my 30 year old mare at the end.. Poor girl I don't know what to do with her, no matter what we do we just can't seem to put weight on her, but she eats like a pig. The picture is also a bad angle, but if you look at my mom's shoulder you can see how much weight she's put on. I'll try and find a side shot :)
