Hello, I have a rooster, yesterday day I noticed that he was sad, I realized that he was stuffy, he drank a lot of water, I separated him and at night he started to salivate a lot, scratched his throat and sneezed. Today in the morning he still had the same symptoms, the only new thing was that yellow putty came out in his throat and it smells bad, I already cleaned him twice today, I clarify that his crop went down by 70% but today all day it has not Wanted to drink or eat, he still has a cough and cough.
PS: I gave him metronidazole thinking it was trichomoniasis.
The vet told me to give him catarrhox injection but I'm not sure.
Any advice on what it could be?
Do you see any lesions or canker inside of the beak?

You mention his crop, is it emptying?

Canker (Trichomoniasis) looks like the photos in the article below, treatment is with Metronidazole.

No veo ninguna lesión adentro.

I don't see any injuries inside. It came out as yellow mucus in his throat, it had the consistency of mucus, as I cleaned it he doesn't have much anymore, but his throat still smells bad, the crop does go down but slowly, now I had to feed him with a syringe because he had not eaten for 1 day. Could be a yes
Could be a yeast infection, sour crop.

I'm not familiar with the medication your vet suggested, can you ask them to explain it to you?
