Respiratory distress

This is Delilah. She is a 5 year old, RIR. When I went out for their daily cleaning, she was making this sound. Respiratory distress? She didn't sound this bad in her pen. She's very upset at being handled and moved. She is now in my garage. I noticed her crop has little food in it. I noticed her keel bone is prominent. The flock is fed Nutrena Nature Wise All Flock with oyster shell and oyster shell flakes on the side, along with grit. I have a couple girls who no longer lay. I'm not sure if Delilah is still laying. Notice the diarrhea. I think this is due to her stress at being handled. There are no vets in our area who will see birds. How can I help Delilah?

Can you put her back in the coop with her flock? It sounds like she might have some stridor, which is a sound they make if they get a small piece of feed stuck in the airway. Most of the time they cough it up and sound normal in a few hours. Offer her some water to drink. Check her crop again in the morning. Let us know if it is not empty. Offer some feed with a bit of water mixed in, and a little scrambled egg.

I just checked on her. She is not making the noise. She probably ate. There're food pellets everywhere. Or she made a mess from being upset. She is calmly laying. She has had more watery stools. Not odorous. Yes, I can put her back in the coop. Thank you for your quick response ♡

I had a hen who would almost inhale her feed. It was a bit powdery, so I added water to a small amount of her feed and it seemed to help.
