I have a 2 year old rooster who’s been making this strange half-crowing noise for over a week or so now. I didn’t think much of it until this morning when he was very wetly sneezing.

I tried to listen for wheezing but didn’t hear much from him generally - he seems to gasp/wheeze after making this noise though.

It’s thankfully not spreading to any of the other chickens, but I’m not quite sure what it could be and I feel terrible seeing him look so off.

What could this be, and are there anyways to treat it?

Same rooster as in your other thread posted about three weeks ago?

If it's the same rooster and he's still not well, I'd consider starting him on an antibiotic if you haven't already done so.

You can find Tylosin or Baytril at Jedds. https://jedds.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoq28KbfXhTzb4DUEw56qTgQCdnIkbtfTYvEY_oampxgzzi_ylZk

Noo this is a different boy, - the older thread roo (Veto) has actually made a full recovery - I think we were having some dry pox issues with a few of them but only three or four (out of like 50 birds) of mine had it

Looking at getting some tylosin for this guy - he’s the only one with this issue and thankfully it hasn’t spread at all
