Respiratory Problem?

I have a rooster that is almost 4 years old. I recently noticed that he is having a difficult time crowing. His crow barely comes out. He sounds like a person that is losing their voice. I observed him for other signs of illness and found that he has labored breathing. His eyes appear clear and there is no evidence of nasal discharge. He is molting at this time. Does anyone know what this could be?

It could be the beginnings of a mild respiratory disease. Keep an eye on him in case it gets worse. You may want to isolate him, as respiratory diseases are contagious. Give him some electrolytes and probiotics, and keep him out of drafts.
