Respiratory

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
You can get Tylan50 from Tractor SC. You will also need to purchase a syringe with a needle to draw it out. Try to find a 22 or 24 gauge needle.
After you draw the solution out of the bottle you remove the needle from the syringe before giving it to the chicken.
The dose is 1/3 ml per pound of bird, given orally every 8 hours for 5 to 7 days.

Tylan 50 is not available any more in feed stores as far as I know. But you can buy 99% Tylosin generic powder to put in the water. Dosage is 1 tsp per gallon of water for up to 5 days. It can treat MG (mycoplasma) but not viruses. What symptoms are you seeing? Bubbles or foam in one eye, eyelid or facial swelling, mucus from the beak, gasping, sneezing, or wheezing can be possible symptoms.
