Hello. So I have a 2 year old hen who has been going through an extreme molt. I didn't see her yesterday and today when I saw her, she was having a hard time breathing. Her tail was also down and she could barely stand. I seperated her immediately in a small cat crate for overnight until I find something bigger. I am going to clean the coop where the other 2 hens are. Her eyes and mouth are also a bit goey and I can hear her weezing. I'm almost 100 percent sure its a respitory infection so I went to get La200 and Vetrx. I gave her an injection in her breast and since her crop is empty, I gave her some wet cat food since I know proiten is good for her right now. She did try to take it from my hand but I mostly had to force feed her since she's having a hard time breathing. Thankfully she swallowed enough for her to hopefully stay alive on the starvation part but I don't even know if she will make it because of her breathing. I rubbed a bit of vetrx under her wings, on her comb, and under her neck. I also mixed some with warm water and dropped a bit of the water mixture down her throat. She doesn't seem to have improved yet but am hoping she makes it through the night. Is there anything else I should be doing? I want to give her the best chance possible, I love her so much
