respriatory problems

what meds can I give my flock all hens 9 white leghorns, 1 buff and 6 rhode Island reds. all of my leghorns have runny noses and I want to give them something but unsure of what type medication and how long before I can start eating eggs after dosing. any help would be great new, I have had chickens for only about one year so still very new to this.

I hate to tell you but a bird with any respriatory issue is always going to be carrier. Even if it looks like it's gone away, it hasn't. Best thing to do would be to cull out your whole flock and disenfect EVERYTHING or hang onto your flock and let them die of old age. If you choose the latter, I wouldn't suggest adding more birds. As they in turn would become carriers.
