Last year, I hatched five ducklings. One of them had a poof on its head and his name was Didi. A month ago, I had to seperate him from the other males so I put him in the garage for ONE night. Of course, there just had to be a tragic accident that happened during the night where I kept the duck. He died from the fumes of a fire. This is him.

Yesterday, three ducklings hatched. One of them in particular I think was one of Didi's babies. It has TWO poofs on the side of his head (they look like ears haha).

I just wanted to share this with you all. Thanks to the new ducklings, I will always remember my DiDi <3

I have recently become interested in seeing weird crests formation since hatching a weird one myself-and this sure is different...but more importantly..... it is a special legacy left to you by the wonderful DiDi. Sorry you lost him under such tragic circumstances.

Sorry about Didi. He was a very handsome boy. I'm sure his babies will be just as beautiful when they grow up.
