Nugget was a great bird! I still remember when you found all of that blood on your porch from someone trespassing. He was such a good rooster. I'm terribly sorry

At least you were still able to hatch some chicks from him

OMG I am so sorry this happened! I really thought he would make it through this, since he seemed to be getting better.

I've got to pass this on to my family. We will definitely miss hearing about Nugget. He was a one in a million guy.

My 10 yo DS actually named our big Barred Rock rooster "Nugent" because it was similar to Nugget. He said we couldn't name him Nugget because there was only one Nugget! But he loved the stories and wanted our roo to be like him.

Thank you, I'm hoping I have a bunch of his pictures on Photobucket because I lost all my pics on my laptop when it crashed. If it wasn't on here or there, I lost all my photos of my birds.

Ohhhhh Nooooo! I'm so sorry to hear about this. I've been reading about Nugget for so long. I think I even did an art image of him at one time.
If you will get me a good sharp photo I'll be glad to do a memorial image of him.
