This morning I lost Nutmeg, my beautiful buff Silkie. She was my emotional support chicken and comforted me through many tribulations. She was my comfort, my support, my love.

She was there through my tears and my sadness, through my laughter and joy. Nutmeg was a light in the darkest of times and shone through the darkness of my mind.

Rest in peace, my girl. You were very loved, and I will miss you.
