Rest in Peace Truvy

I’m really sorry. It is hard to say goodbye to these tiny innocent babies. She was gorgeous and very well loved. You gave her her very best life. I’m sure she loved you with her whole heart. She will never be forgotten. Keep her in your heart forever. Be glad for all the time you had with her and all the wonderful memories. I wish I could take away the pain. But just remember that you did do your best. You loved her until the end, and that is the best thing we can do for our chickens. I hope you feel better soon.:hugs

I lost 4 in the past year, each special and one of my favorites (they’re all “one of my favorites”). One of them was just a chick😢 I always hold them close to my heart and I’m sure you will always hold your Truvy in your heart as well. She sounds like a sweet girl and one of the ones that I lost had just started to warm up to me when she passed so I know how that is. ❤️

I have picked favorites. Some of them as just more special then the others. Nell and Truvy are and will always be my babies. I bonded to them differently differently any of the others. I'll appreciate nell extra for now on.

I know how that is, my 5 imprinted on me and genuinely thought I was their mama (I thought I was their mama too) during Covid-19 (summer 2020) Probably had something to do with the fact that I spent like 8 hours a day with them between Zooms. They would follow me around and when they got cocsidocis (I do realize that’s spelled wrong in every possible way) they would just come up and lean on me. Sadly one of the 4 I lost this year was from their little group. That’s her with her twin, their names are Salt and Pepper (Salt on right Pepper on left)

I know how it is to have a couple
chicka-chickens that are just…well…special. Even more so I understand how it is to lose one that’s so sweet and special. I hope you feel happier soon :hugs
