We have the Bob White and the A & M quails. They are laying daily 9 to 10 eggs a day. we are getting at least 60 to 70 eggs a week. They have slowed down a bit because of the weather change. These eggs are great to boil and poach or whatever you like to do with them. I am wanting to know what is the going price for a dozen of quail eggs. Can you sell them at farmer markets. I am in Austin, TX.

I get 2,75 selling to an asian market and 3.00 a dozen to individuals. Thats here in Georgia and we can sell at farmers markets and festivals with no licensing. Supposed to be regulated to sell to food markets, shhhh... The asian market sells for 3.99.

Personally, that's all I wanted to do. I am going to buy quail and was hoping to be able to sell the eggs to reasturants. I would only sell the meat if I was making enough money to buy more. I just haven't figured out which ones. I think it would be a good idea.
