They are a week old. I am feeding 24/7. Is it advisable to remove feed for 12 hours a day, as with cornish? If so, at what age?

Same for the cornish -- I got three feed store chicks so I could do a grow-out comparison. At what age should I begin restricting feed? They are incredibly fat. Little Eric Cartmans in yellow fluff.

I've never had the rangers, but I'm looking to get some. I had called JM Hatchery and asked the same question to him. He told me that you don't need to restrict them.

As far as the cornish, I don't know.

As far as I've ever heard, you only need to restrict cornish x rocks. Just don't do it too soon. I tried that once and killed a few chicks.

I would give them 2 or 3 weeks on full time feed before restricting them.
