Welp Hatchery suggests “full feed” up till the 5th day and a restricted feeding regiment after the 5th day. What feeding recommendations do you follow? Any information would helpful.

How dark is your place once the sun goes down? Around here once the sun is down it is very dark and the birds are asleep/not eating so I don't remove the feeder. If there is a lot of light they will be up and down all night and will eat. A lot of people use the 12hr with feed/12hr without feed schedule. I sort of do to but it is a natural schedule for them because we don't keep any lights on outside at night.

I do the same as Terri; I remove the feed at night during the time they still have a light on them, but then I leave it in once they have dark at night.

And they will be up and around with the red light, even though a lot of folks think otherwise. I'm the same, with the light I pulled the food at night, now that they're without a light I just leave it.
