RestRoom facilities in a coop

Aw, comeon Wildsky, tell the truth. You pee in a horse stall just like I do. That's what horse stalls are for.

Too funny - my son finds it SO much fun to pee outside - why is it that boys/men get to have that fun and girls don't?
It would be JUST MY luck the fedex guy would show up right at that moment!

I have a sink and 'pee only' toilet in my outbuilding where the brooder and kennels are.

It's 'pee only' because it is not plumbed up to a septic system, but let me tell you it's really nice to have a toilet where you can go when you really really really have to!

My three year old hopped out of my truck in the grocery store parking lot a while back and tinkled on the asphalt while I was putting the cart (buggy) away. He prefers to go outside any time he can. Don't tell him about a toilet in the coop- he'd be all over that idea!

Too funny!!

You know I never thought about a bathroom, but like most I would love a sink, like I big sink that would be in a laundry room. I just want it to fill up the water buckets because I am not looking forward to filling up the chickens water in the kitchen sink this winter.

Can't be any worse than using 5 gallon buckets ?

Besides , they are not babies anymore . I have 7 per say full grown and 29 that are like 13 - 14 weeks old .

You could certainly have an old-fashioned commode toilet there...but you'd have to dispose of the material in some acceptable way. I know there is a product called a doggie dooley that is a hunged cap on the top of a 3' hole that contains peat moss and a digester powder.
