Short version:
Would turning the lights back on mid-molt interfere with molt finishing?

Backstory:
I provide light during winter but allow the hens to rest in fall. That way they can molt.
This year I'm in a bit of a hurry, so I want to turn the lights back on sooner. Some of my older hens are mid-molt, so I'm concerned about rushing them.

* The hurry is that I want to get rid of a roo who crows at 3am... So I want more hens in lay to get another good hatch from him.

I settled into doing it this way due to summer broodies and winter in FL is great temps for me to raise chicks in the brooder, that way my breeding project can progress year round. Hope that all makes sense.

They won't lay until they're done molting regardless of lighting. It won't hurt them but also won't get you more eggs much sooner that you otherwise would
