I think I underestimated how long it takes for a flock to decimate the grass, and I doubt that we would be moving it daily. I'm thinking of creating a coop in the barn instead, with a rotating paddock design since we have plenty of room behind the barn and plenty of fence that I bought a few months ago. Would it be easier to retrofit an existing horse stall into a very large coop, or build a coop from scratch?
