Returning a chicken to the flock

I had to isolate one of my 3 chickens from the others. She got injured somehow and they were pecking at her injury. One visit to the vet and 3 weeks later I think she's ready to return. How do I best facilitate this?

If I'm worried about it, I put them in a pen for a couple of days where they can socialize back and forth but the one getting ready to return is protected. Then I let them out, but we monitor them and discourage any seriously aggressive behavior. Usually, if it's a hen, it's no problem at all really for them to get back into the flock. They just have to re-establish a little pecking order, but it should not be a big deal for them. They will remember her.
