(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had chickens all of my life, from my toddler years, to exhbiting in FFA!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
At the moment, we only have two girls that we are going to adopt from our local FFA chapter at our high school.


(3) What breeds do you have?
Plymouth Rocks. :)

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I am a former member~


(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Myself and my partner are avid gamers, comic book collectors, and playing RPGs! :)


(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have a 4-month old Border Collie named Onyx, I am a sales associate at a Feed Store and my partner is a food service manager, we're returning to this site because in an amazing turn of events, he and I are starting a Micro Farm on a 4-acre plot of land that we have inherited, and well, we wanted to share the process here over the next few months, we feel very blessed and excited to share the process!

Thanks for rejoining us!!

1. I have been raising broilers for about 4 years, but got started with layers in March of this year.
2. I have 35 chickens right now, but trying to get rid of 2
3. I have Golden Laced Wyandottes, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Black Australorps, Welsummers, Buff Orpingtons, Speckled Sussex, Partridge Plymouth Rock, Light Brahma (my profile pic) and a White leghorn
4. My other hobbies are swimming, BYC'n in up, raising farm animals, and I love to read. And eat chocolate.;)
5. I found out about BYC because I kept on googling chicken questions and BYC was all that ever came up.
6. I live on a 22 acre farm in the Blue Ridge mountains of VA with my 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 cows, 3 pigs and of course the chickens.
