Reverse Effects from Too Many Treats?

She looks very healthy and alert. I wouldn't be worried about her weight. She just is a big girl! Nothing wrong with that!

She ate scratch or Flock Raiser?
I'm guessing flock raiser. Not a problem, as Junebuggena said.
If it's scratch to get them back into the pen, as long as she finishes it in 10 minutes. Otherwise toss out less so it's gone in 10 minutes.
As far as fatty liver, I don't know. But it is better to limit treats and I would think she'll live longer than if you overdo treats.
My girls have 18% Protein layers pellets available 24/7.View attachment 1237222 . I do limit treats to seeds scattered on the ground to twice a day, three times in sub freezing temps. They are 21 months old. GC

I tiny bit of scratch followed by flock raiser. I think she’s good! That aside, I’m still curious as to whether fat can be melted off organs.

I am not very good at assessing a chickens weight based on photographs alone. They have to be in hand and felt for breast muscle mass and distension of the viscera. Comb coloration can give idea of immediate health and feathers can tell something about health in the previous months.

She’s well muscled, but not as firm as my Buckeye or Australorp. Not sure how helpful that is. Just don’t want my learning curve to harm my flock.
