Revisiting chickens in retirement

Hi everyone in Backyard chickens. I retired a year ago, moved from the suburbs to very rural Oregon. My kids and their spouses are here, now were all in one place.
I helped with chickens growing up in the 50's but have never given it a go on my own. So I decided this is something I wanted to do. My brother and Son in law built "Le' Poulet Chalet" to my specs. My chooks are 6 weeks old and moving into their chalet this weekend. Wish me luck and thanks to everyone for sharing great information. Will post pics soon

Yes please, do share Pictures and Stories of your flock or coop. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
