Revive Lawn Treatment?

Hello!

We are new to chicken keeping and are wondering if Revive Lawn Treatment would be safe to use on the lawn where our chickens will have access to occasionally. The product says it's organic but we are wondering what the thoughts are concerning the safety of the chickens. Thank you!

Just because something is organic doesn't mean it is safe. Castor beans are organic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castor_oil_plant The toxicity belies the notion that organic is necessarily safe.

If it is granular, watering it in well a couple of times and waiting a couple of weeks with plenty of watering should reduce any risk.

I don't use granular chemicals where the chickens might ingest them.
