Rhino lining a coop?

So I have been toying with the idea of using some kind of spray on water proof, chip proof, slip proof stuff to spray the inside of the coop to make it where I can hose it out every so often but won't chip with pecking and won't be toxic etc. Etc. Does anyone know of a product that meets these requirements while not costing an arm and a leg?

my husband and i have the same question. we were thinking about the rubberized paint too. (that we used in our showers before we set the tile)

Our coop floor is painted right now and they seem to not be bothering it at all.. i am interested t o see if anyone else is using it.

What's the name of the paint you're talking about? That sounds more apt to work and not chip since its designed for showers. I wanna do this right the first time. Keeping cost at a minimum is the key to my husband staying on board with this.

It has been in use in my coop for over 4yrs, and looks like it did when I first put it down. This stuff is flexible, and can deal with the normal expansion and contraction of the coop throughout the seasons. It totally seals all floor seams, and the seam/gap where the walls meet the floor. It drys within a day, and it's totally chicken proof. Very easy to apply, just stir well, dump a big pile on the floor and push it around with a roller.

this is what we used.. and were considering, but it would need to air out for a few days before I would let my flock back in... it works really well tho!

oh good idea for the roof coating!! does it have strong odor?

No it doesn't, drys within a day.

Thats awesome! I'm definitely going to try this with my coop. When I clean something I prefer to scrub and spray the heck out of it so this will hopefully keep the wood from warping and what not. Thanks so much for the info.
