So, I found a lot of threads that were started but never a final answer- so I intend to update weekly on whether it ends up being a hen or cockeral. :) so what do you think? 4 weeks old RIR.

No need to post anymore pictures :) most definitely a cockerel. He is going to a new home next weekend to an experienced chicken farmer.

We have 10 4 week old RIR's. Purchased with an 85% chance of being hens. At this point they all look the same with no distinct differences. I'm thinking at this point they are all hens. Wouldn't there be something to tell us otherwise?

Does anyone have any comment on the sex of this Rhode Island Red of ours? 7 weeks old. Supposedly a hen as per breeder that supplied to a feed store.
