Technically a mixed breed. Not a hybrid.Not a breed - a hybrid.
Not this particular one - barred rock mix would make them black sex links.Oh cool, they're barred rock mixes! Didn't catch that, thanks for the specification !
Thanks, I think I understand now. The differentiation is because two Sex Link Reds will not pass their notable traits down to their youth. Where as a R I R and many other breeds certainly will. Not a breed - a hybrid.
Mine are a-holes. Inhad to get rid of one because she was attacking the entire flock and started biting me. They were fine until they hut a year old. What? Really? Mine are all so docile!
What's the difference?Technically a mixed breed. Not a hybrid.
lol, I’m sorry to hear that!Mine are a-holes. Inhad to get rid of one because she was attacking the entire flock and started biting me. They were fine until they hut a year old.
A hybrid is the cross of two different species. A mixed breed is the cross of two different breeds of the same species. A mule is a hybrid. What's the difference?
I still have 3 left but man, I will never get that breed again. They even attacked eachother toes as chicks. Trouble makers from the start.lol, I’m sorry to hear that!
Well maybe it's OK that their beaks are clipped then. I'm more of an all-natural kinda person, but I got these from a larger more conservative type of farm. Looks like they didn't do too much of a hack job.I still have 3 left but man, I will never get that breed again. They even attacked eachother toes as chicks. Trouble makers from the start.
